These onion rings are the best!
So very good and so easy to make.
They are best right out of the oil,
as most fried foods, lightly salted,
I bet you can't eat just one!
Ingredients:
2 large yellow onions
1 cup all purpose flour
2 cups canola oil for frying
salt to taste
Directions:
Peel and thinly slice onions,
you don't need to make rings,
but you can if you want to.
Place onions in a sealable plastic bag.
Add flour to bag, seal and shake to coat
the onions with flour all over.
Remove onions to a colander,
shake off excess flour.
Deep fry in oil until browned,
place on paper towels to drain.
Sprinkle with salt while warm.
