This is the recipe I use to make a
tomato sauce to cook stuffed cabbage.
I think the secret is in using butter.
Use on cabbage rolls and stuffed cabbage.
Ingredients:
2 cans of whole tomatoes
1 tsp grated onion
1/2 tsp salt
1 clove garlic crushed
2 tbs butter
2 tsp flour
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients,
simmer for 15 minutes till onions and garlic is soft.
Melt butter, blend in flour, Worcestershire sauce.
Stir till blended. Cool a bit
and put the tomatoes in a blender.
