Ahi tuna is cooked in a mixture of olive oil,
lemon juice and garlic in a pan on the grill.
This is a good recipe, served with jasmine rice.
Ingredients:
4 Ahi tuna steaks, about 3/4-inch thick
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
6 large garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
2 Lemons: 1/4 teaspoon grated zest and the juice
1/2 teaspoon crushed sea salt
Crushed red pepper to taste
Cooked jasmine rice
Directions:
Place ahi steaks in 9-inch square tin.
Drizzle with 1/2 cup of olive oil,
crush garlic over ahi steaks,
sprinkle with lemon zest,
pour lemon juice over ahi.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place pan on barbecue Grill
on Medium Heat for 15 minutes.
Serve the olive oil-lemon-garlic mixture
spooned over fish, along with jasmine rice.
