Frozen Fresh Cucumbers

This is a recipe to freeze cucumbers.
I always thought you couldn't until
I did it using this great method.
They can be thawed and eaten anytime.

Ingredients:
cucumbers, sliced thin
salt to taste
1 onion, peeled and cut up
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar

Directions:
Mix salt with cucumbers and onions.
Cover and refrigerate for two hours.
Then drain off juice, but do not rinse.
Mix sugar and vinegar and stir until dissolved.
Pour over cucumbers and onions.
Place in containers and freeze.
