These are a great little first bite appetizers.
French baguette topped with gorgonzola cheese,
melted to tasty perfection in the oven.
The black pepper is what makes these awesome!

1/2 cup (2 oz.) crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
16 slices French baguette, (1 pound loaf)

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl combine Gorgonzola,
olive oil and 1/4 teaspoons black pepper.
Spread on bread slices.
Place on baking sheet and bake
10 to 15 minutes, until edges are golden.
