Garlic Rosemary
Mashed Potatoes

This is a recipe to make mashed potatoes
using all dried seasoning and spices.
It's a made for winter type of dish when
fresh herbs are expensive or not around.
It still holds up well in the flavor dept.

Ingredients:
6 Russet potatoes, peeled and cut up
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Rosemary Leaves, crushed
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper, Ground
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into chunks
1 teaspoon Parsley Flakes

Directions:
Place potatoes in medium saucepan.
Cover with cold water. Bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes
or until potatoes are fork tender.
Drain and return potatoes to saucepan.
Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder,
rosemary and pepper, add butter.
Mash with potato masher,
gradually adding milk.
Stir in parsley and serve warm.
