Crock Pot / Slow Cooker
Best Beef Stroganoff

Here's a recipe that I've been making for years.
It's the best stroganoff I've ever tasted, Ever!
I like slow cooker recipes as they cook while
I'm at work and dinner is served as soon as I
walk through the door, smelling the great aromas.

Ingredients:
3 lb beef steak, cut into strips
1/2 c flour
Salt & pepper to taste
1 clove garlic minced
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/2 ts dry mustard
2 medium onions sliced thin
8-oz sliced mushrooms drained
10-1/2 oz beef broth
1/4 c dry white wine
1-1/2 c sour cream
1/4 c flour
3 tb fresh minced parsley
or finely chopped chives

Directions:
Combine 1/2 cup flour, salt, pepper, dry mustard;
toss with steak strips to coat thoroughly.
Place coated steak strips in crockpot;
stir in garlic, onions and mushrooms.
Add beef broth and wine and sauce, stir well.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
Before serving, combine sour cream
with 1/4 cup flour stir into crockpot.
Serve stroganoff over hot buttered noodles,
or fluffy rice. Garnish with parsley or chives.
