American Bleu
Cheese Burgers

This is just about as good tasting
as a grilled cheese burger can get.
After one bite you are speachless.
After the second bite your hooked.
This could just quite possibly be
the best cheeseburger recipe ever!

Ingredients:
To make 4 burgers:
1/2 pound ground beef 85/15
1/2 onion, peeled and chopped
1 garlic clove, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon sweet smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 ounces bleu cheese, crumbled
4 hamburger buns, toasted
4 slices American cheese

Directions:
Preheat barbecue grill.
Combine the ground beef, onions,
garlic, paprika, salt and pepper
together and mix thoroughly.
Shape the beef mixture into
eight thin patties.
Sprinkle crumbled bleu cheese
on top of four of the patties
and then cover each of the patties
with one of the remaining patties.
Place the burgers on the grill
and grill at 375 degrees F.
for about 15 minutes, turning once.
Serve patties on hamburger buns.
With a slice of American cheese on top.

one half pound of burger is 8 ounces. 8/4= 2ounce burgers.
Should this recipe not call for more burger? Thanks

85/15 is the meat to fat content
the more fat the more taste!
