This is an old recipe I found,
I'm not sure of the amounts just
by reading the recipe through.
Never the less, it's worth a try.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 heaping tablespoon butter
2 heaping tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 cup applesauce
1 unbaked 9" pie crust
Directions:
Cream the first 4 ingredients
together until light;
add the milk and mix well.
Pour filling into a pie pan
lined with unbaked pastry.
Bake at 350 degrees F.
for about 30 minutes,
or until crust is browned.
