Ketchup Filled
Potato Dumplings

These dumplings are so very good tasting,
I think I just drooled on my keyboard!
Kind of like french fries with the ketchup
squirting from the inside out in every bite.
The secret in making these is to freeze them
before deep frying these potato dumplings.

Ingredients:
Wonton wrappers
Mashed potatoes, cold
Ketchup or catsup
Flour
canola oil for frying
salt

Directions one:
This is a good way to use up
some leftover mashed potatoes.
On the table in front of you...
A package of wonton wrappers,
a bowl of leftover mashed potatoes,
a bottle of ketchup,
some all-purpose flour
and a salt shaker.

Directions two:
Preheat oil to 360 degrees F.
In a bowl mix the mashed potatoes
with some tomato ketchup to taste.
Fill each wonton with a bit of the
mashed potato mixture and seal.
Place in the freezer over night.
Remove from freezer and get ready,
to deep fry until golden brown.
Remove from oil and season with salt.
