A traditional dish served on New Year's day,
black-eyed peas are great when prepared
with a smoked sauge or kielbasa.
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh black-eyed, shelled
3 cups water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 onion, peeled and chopped
1 package kielbasa, sliced, browned
Directions:
Bring black-eyed peas, water, boulion cube,
onion and kielbasa to a boil in a saucepan.
Reduce heat; simmer 45 minutes or until tender.
