This is a traditional Italian amaretti cookie.
These cookies are made with little ingredients
and take little to no time to prepare.
Ingredients:
7 oz. almonds
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350 degree F.
In a food processor, pulse almonds and
sugar until almonds are roughly chopped.
Add flour, egg whites and vanilla.
Blend until combined and a paste is formed.
Roll mixture into tablespoon-sized balls
and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for about 12 minutes, or
until bottome turn golden. Cool before serving.
