Home Canned Fresh Salsa

When I was growing up I would help
my Mother in the kitchen make this.
We had a big fresh green garden and
would 'put up' as she called it
many fresh vegetables for winter use.
This salsa is made with fresh tomatoes
and other ingredients and is the best.

Ingrdients:
8 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2 1/2 cups onions, chopped
1 1/2 cups green peppers
1 cup jalapeno pepper, chopped
6 garlic cloves,peeled and minced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons black pepper
1/8 cup salt
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a soup pot.
Bring to a slow boil for 10 minute.
Seal in clean canning jars and cook
in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
