Simply dressed with browned butter,
this is a good tasting side dish.
The capers add enough saltiness that
compliment the browned butter nicely.
Use more cucumber in your meals,
the flavor is mild and crisp.
Ingredients:
1 fresh cucumber
1 cup water
1 tablespoon capers
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
Cut ends of of cucumber and peel,
cut in half lengthwise and again
in quarters and then in 1/4" slice.
Place in a sausepan along with water.
Bring to a boil and cook until all
water has been evaporated off.
Add butter and capers and stir.
Serve warm.
