Chow Mein Noodles

Chow Mein Noodles are quick-cooked so they are light and crunchy.
They make a good and tasty complement to any meal or salad.
I made these using a package of dried Ramen Noodles.
It's an easy treat to make and a lot cheaper than store bought.

Ingredients:
1 package Ramen Noodles
2 cups water
2 tablespoons canola oil
salt to taste

Directions:
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan,
place whole block of noodles in water
and cook for one minute then turn over.
Cook for another minute just to soften.
Remove noodles from water and drain.
Bring oil to heat in a fry pan and fry noodles
turning until you achieve desired crispness.
Remove to drain on paper towels,
salt to taste.
