A sauce to serve along side smoked meat.
This goes well with smoked pulled pork.
In between a vinegar and mustard sauce.
With a citrus barbecue and a little heat.
1/2 cup pan drippings
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
2 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
dash of garlic powder
dash of onion powder
dash of chili powder
dash of cayenne pepper
dash of black pepper
squirt of lemon juice
Combine all ingredients in a pan,
bring to a boil, lower heat to simmer.
Cook for 10 minutes stirring.
Remove from heat, cover and let cool.
Serve along side pulled pork shoulder.
